A STUPID yob clearly unable to control his BMW hatchback sent someone flying in a horror car meet crash in Bristol.

The out-of-control boy racer slammed into crowds at the 'Bristol Meet' car cruising event at the weekend, with the ordeal caught on camera.

Eyewitnesses tell SundayStar.co.uk the "absolute lunatic" was trying to "drift his car" before "losing control" and slamming into a group of onlookers.

Footage shows the terrifying moment the white BMW 1 series hits someone at speed as they fly across the road, landing in the grass.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene as officers shut down the illegal event, thought to be held on Saturday night (November 18).

One attendee told us: "Everyone was revving as they left but most people were being respectable, but this guy clearly ran out of talent.

"The person he hit was obviously extremely shaken up and was taken into the back of one of the ambulances, police shut down the event too."

We're told the moron motorist has been tracked down and is "being dealt with" by police after reports suggested the driver "left the scene".
