    STRICTLY Come Dancing is returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for another glitter-filled series, with a brand new line-up of celebrities, professional dancers, presenters and judges.

    The 2026 series will see 15 celebrities take to the dancefloor as they compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

    When does Strictly Come Dancing 2026 start?

    Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will return on Saturday, September 19 at 7.25pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

    The series will continue across weekends through to Christmas, with the celebrities taking on a series of increasingly difficult dances as the competition progresses.

    The previous series averaged 7.8 million viewers for the main show across 28-Day BARB 4-Screens, while the Grand Final attracted an audience of 8.6 million.

    Who are the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 presenters?

    Strictly will have three presenters at the helm for the first time.

    Emma Willis will be joined by professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe.

    The trio will guide viewers through the live shows as the celebrities battle it out on the dancefloor.

    Who are the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 professional dancers?

    A number of familiar professional dancers will return for the new series.

    The returning professionals are Dianne Buswell, Julian Caillon, Amy Dowden, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystał, Aljaž Škorjanec, Alexis Warr, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Vito Coppola.

    Five new professional dancers will also join the Strictly line-up, coming from the UK, Canada, Italy, South Africa and Ukraine.

    Who are the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 judges?

    The Strictly judging panel will once again feature Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas.

    The judges will score each performance throughout the series before viewers get their say through the public vote.

    The previous series ended with Karen Carney and Carlos Gu lifting the Glitterball Trophy after winning the Grand Final.

    Several popular Strictly theme weeks will return during the new series.

    When is It Takes Two back?

    Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two will also return to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in September.

    Ellie Taylor will be the new host of the weeknight programme, which will be filmed from Elstree Studios.

    The show will provide behind-the-scenes access to the competition, along with interviews with the celebrities, professional dancers and judges.
