NETFLIX viewers can't get enough of nail-biting thriller Fool Me Once and most have binge-watched the entire thing.

Despite dropping on the streaming site only days ago, millions have already sat through the whole series based on Harlan Coben's novel.

Former ITV Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan plays main character Maya Stern and fans say she absolutely "killed it".

With such a storming success, it isn't any surprise that viewers are looking forward to the show's second season.

"Fool me Once was a really really good watch we need a second season," one penned on X, formally known as Twitter.

"Fool me once is so good I really hope they make a season 2, Michelle Keegan killed it," added another. While someone else commented: "I can't wait to see what happens in season 2 of " Fool Me Once " on @netflix it's a great show."

A fourth wrote: "The next season of fool me once needs to come out asap." A fifth added: "Fool me once is so good I hope they got another season coming out."

But sadly, Netflix have already made an announcement about season two – and it isn't good news for anyone wanting more.

Netflix have noted that the show is a limit series, explaining: "The series has eight episodes."

While Harlan Coben said: "Fool Me Once is a pulse pounder — a shocking story of how secrets and deceit have the power to bring people together while simultaneously tearing them apart."

Despite no season two of Fool Me Once, it's thought Michelle could soon be cracking Hollywood as a result of its storming success.

A source told the Daily Mail: "The response to Fool Me Once has been overwhelming. The phone calls and offers have been coming in from Hollywood film executives, it's different to anything Michelle has experienced before.

"Netflix is a global platform and the show has given her the opportunity to shine. Her career has already been a success but now her star is rising, everyone can feel that this is the beginning of something special."
