ACTOR Noel Clarke has been charged with six sexual offences against five women following a police investigation into alleged offending between 2007 and 2016.

Clarke is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on 21 October.

The charges follow an investigation by detectives from the Metropolitan Police which began in September 2025.

Police said a man, then in his 40s, was first arrested in connection with the investigation on 25 September 2025.

Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, whose team is leading the investigation, said: "The women connected to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers.

"We urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police. The information you provide will be dealt with in the utmost sensitivity and we have trained investigators on hand to support you."

The Crown Prosecution Service said prosecutors had established that there was sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and that it was in the public interest to do so.

Clarke is best known for writing, directing and starring in the 2006 film Kidulthood and its sequels Adulthood and Brotherhood.

He also became known to television audiences through his role as Mickey Smith in Doctor Who.
