THE President of the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists and one of President Trump's personal lawyers has said the UK government's decision over Israel could threaten the US-UK relationship.
Speaking on GB News, Robert Garson said: "What's the reaction going to be behind the scenes? President Trump, for those [who] don't know, is somebody that takes a lot of advice from people. He listens to everybody, and he doesn't rush to snap judgments when it comes to these things. That's the experience that I've seen.

"You've certainly heard what he said previously when President Macron decided to state that he was going to recognise a Palestinian state, and he said, "Well, he's not really relevant anyhow."
"But he's going to be listening to people like Marco Rubio. He's going to be listening to those people in national security to try and understand, really, who Ed Miliband is because he may not know, who Andy Burnham is, and why now?
"People might be suggesting many things to him. For example, like there's a Holborn by election coming up and this has nothing to do with the Middle East and the good of the Middle East, but rather is trying to preserve himself, to try and fight against the Greens, to then hold some form of snap by-election, and he really doesn't care that much about the Jewish community and the 370 years that they've put into Great Britain.
"It's absolutely appalling. But then again, what should one expect from this current administration? Look, let's start on a couple of levels. Andy Burnham, I don't really know what he knows about international politics and international relations.
"Being the mayor of Manchester, somebody who comes from Manchester, doesn't necessarily prepare you for that. Ed Miliband, on the other side, is somebody who only seems to wield his Judaism when he's putting down his bacon sandwich, and he says, 'as a Jew', a little bit like Paulden or Polanski, as he likes to call himself now, when he wields his Judaism to say, 'as a Jew, let me rail upon the one Jewish state who provides intelligence support to the United Kingdom has saved countless lives from terrorists in the United Kingdom.'
"People like us, especially in the United States, are looking over and saying, 'Thank God we moved to Miami or to the United States.'
"The amount of calls and emails that I have had from British Jews over the past 48 hours, it doesn't even bear thinking about because people are scared.
"What they're saying is, Look, Britain is surrendering. They're surrendering to a demographic, growing majority. People are trying to negotiate their dimmyhood, and we don't want to be part of that. We're scared, and we want to get out.
"How many ambulance bombings do we have to suffer? How many stabbings do we have to suffer? How many boys being beaten up in Belsize Park have to suffer?
"I've got to tell you, I grew up in the north of England. It was nothing like that when we grew up, and maybe that's because the composition of the people in Manchester when we were growing up was remarkably different.
"[British Jews will leave] either America or to Israel, because they're not seeing the Brits as having their backs. When I say 'the Brits', I'm talking about the current administration. There are lots of people who have been fletched very straight, especially in the north of England.

"And there are many people in certain areas, who do not agree with what the current government and administration is doing. But maybe this is the way that the British government can show its relevance on the international stage.
"They can't at the moment. They can't flex against Russia. They can't flex against China. So therefore, who can they flex against? Is going to be the Israelis, the people that are providing a huge amount of technology, infrastructure, medical support to Britain and Europe, and what they want is a partner in their fight.
"But they're not getting it back, and they're not getting it reciprocated.
"These are sad days that such a pawn is being used just to curry favour to try and get elected or re-elected.
"Historically, Britain does have that special relationship with the United States. But if you were going to ask who came to America's aid in a fight recently, Britain couldn't mount one ship. Israel put 200 warplanes into the air, flew thousands of kilometers, didn't lose one.
"From what people are saying, that when the American airmen went down, the people that went to go and get them and to coordinate going and getting them on the ground were Israelis.
"If you're going to buy missile technology defence, who would you buy it from at the moment? Would you be like the Greeks and buy those three levels of missile defence from Israel, or would you be buying it from Britain that doesn't have a factory worth its name at the moment?
"I don't know, but I know who I would choose in a fight at this moment.
"One can never speak for the president. One thing I've learnt over time: he's a man that really does have his own mind. When it comes to things like intelligence sharing, something like that can't be broken apart.
"The way that the intelligence agencies work together. They're very closely knitted. There could be certain statements that are being made. There could be repercussions when it comes to views on the Falkland Islands, as a prime example.
"The president's already spoken about that. Has already given his views. He's very close to President Milei, they consider themselves to be very close friends.
"So, if Britain wants America's support, America will be looking to who its allies are at this time. But realistically, there is a very close relationship that would be difficult to break asunder. However, Labour at the moment are doing quite a good job in trying."
