METRIX, the immersive fitness competition where music powers performance, has officially wrapped its latest event at Magazine London, welcoming participants and attendees for a full day of competitive fitness, live music, recovery, food, drink and socialising.
From the moment doors opened, Magazine London was transformed into a packed fitness experience, with competitors taking on the METRIX challenge against a backdrop of live music from Atlantic Records DJs, creating an immersive, high-energy club-like environment designed to drive performance.

Toby Spooner at METRIX, said: "We're delighted to have welcomed so many people to METRIX in London. The energy across the weekend was incredible, with the competition floor packed and the wider venue buzzing throughout. Seeing first time competitors, experienced athletes, friends and gym communities all coming together captures exactly what METRIX is about. This is our first full year where we have hosted across two cities, with London marking the perfect way to finish out 2026. We can't wait for 2027!"

METRIX is designed to be accessible to first time competitors while still offering a credible challenge for experienced athletes, allowing people of different abilities to compete side by side. The format is proving highly engaging, with a 30% retention rate showing that once people experience METRIX, many choose to return and compete again.
Gyms and existing fitness communities remain central to the METRIX experience, with approximately 30-40% of attendees coming through gym affiliates. One gym alone brought 100 participants to the London event, giving members the opportunity to compete individually while representing their wider community.

But the competition is only one part of the METRIX experience. Across the venue, attendees could move between the competition floor, recovery zones, food and drink pop ups, branded experiences and social spaces, creating a full day experience rather than a competition people simply arrive for and leave.

The London event brings METRIX's 2026 calendar to a close, bringing together thousands of attendees across the year. The brand has already confirmed its 2027 UK circuit across London, Manchester and Cardiff with over 10,000 attendees expected, alongside plans for its inaugural international event.
