ROYAL favourite turned TV presenter Sarah Ferguson is trying to keep her head down amid drama with her ex, Prince Andrew.
The Duke of York faces allegations of sexual assault as investigations and revelations continue into paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Fergie and Andrew, who separated in 1992 before their divorce finalised in 1996, have been staying in their own lanes recently.
They were forced to come together at Christmas during the Royal Family's annual traditional celebrations at Sandringham.
It was a bittersweet moment for The Duchess of York who has been trying her best to avoid the controversy, insiders tell SundayStar.co.uk.
Sources close to the author tell us she's trying to book in more presenting jobs with ITV to "take her mind off" the complicated ordeal.
"Sarah is just trying to keep busy, accepting the occasional presenter gigs from ITV to take her mind off everything," explained our source.
They added: "Everyone at Lorraine and This Morning are supporting her through it all, keeping her on track behind the scenes.
"Producers and presenters are rallying behind her because of all the drama with Andrew, they've said she can still present on ITV."
It comes as His Majesty King Charles is reportedly planning to withdraw private funding for the security operation at the Duke of York’s home.
The Telegraph reports that Andrew will have to fund the multi-million-pound security costs at Royal Lodge himself.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
