BEAUTY guru Scott McGlynn says he bears that much of a resemblance to US singer Adam Lambert that he's even tricked the paparazzi.
The skin care influencer and podcast host reckons he shares "many similarities" with the season eight American Idol runner-up.
Speaking exclusively to SundayStar.co.uk, Scott recalled one moment press photographers mistook him for Adam while out in London.
"I was leaving a restaurant and the paparazzi was taking photos of me," Scott explained.
He added: "Even though I'm used to it at the events, I didn't think me going out for dinner was very exciting."
Revealing the moment the snapper realised their mistake, Scott said: "I heard the photographer say that's not Adam!
"They soon clocked I wasn't Adam and I haven't seen them photos since."
Scott says this isn't the first time that something like that has happened, telling SundayStar.co.uk he's had similar run-ins on the red carpet.
"I remember one time at Netflix's The Sandman red carpet, fans were asking me to sign autographs which of course I did," he said.
"I was signing my name when they had a strange look on their face, looking at me."
Scott laughed as he explained: "They saw I wasn't Adam, they probably thought who hell is Scott McGlynn."
Addressing the constant case of mistaken identity, he added: "Being a fan myself I feel honoured people mistake me as him at events."
