NETFLIX has made a Scottish woman an overnight celebrity with a dramatised version of her alleged run-ins with Richard Gadd.
Baby Reindeer follows the comedian's heartbreaking story dealing with a prolific stalker and industry abuser at the beginning of his career.
The show has reached a worldwide audience, becoming a huge success in the USA, with Gadd's truth reaching every corner of the planet.
After its steaming success, the woman claiming to have inspired the Martha character, played by Jessica Gunning, now wants to "have her say".
She's filled her social media with messages about the show and her alleged interactions with Gadd over the last few years.
Richard himself had urged his audience to avoid looking for the real-life Martha, and the real-life high-profile industry individual who abused him.
But now "Martha" is taking to TV to respond to Baby Reindeer, joining former Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan on his YouTube channel Uncensored.
Why not follow the Sunday Star on Facebook, Instagram and X?
"The real-life Martha from Baby Reindeer breaks cover and gives me her first TV interview about the smash hit Netflix show," he tweeted.
Piers said she "wants to have her say and set the record straight". Posting a picture of the pair, he asked: "Is she a psycho stalker?"
Attracting thousands of likes, and some criticism, he followed up: "3m+ views of this tweet in 4hrs… rarely seen such massive global interest for any interview I've done.
"Shows just how big Baby Reindeer is across the world."
Although not everyone was supportive of Gadd's alleged stalker being given airtime, with one calling the whole setup "irresponsible".
"Hope you didn't give her your phone number," one person quipped, referring to scenes on Netflix where "Martha" would send constant text messages.
"Be careful Piers, you could become the next victim," commented another. While someone else said: "This should be really interesting."
