COUNTRYFILE presenter Adam Henson has opened up about thinking about his "end-of-life" and revealed the retirement home he could one day see himself moving into.
The 60-year-old BBC presenter made the candid admission during a visit to a care home in the Cotswolds, where he was giving a talk about his life with dogs.

Adam praised the home as an "absolute joy" and even joked about putting down a deposit, although he has no immediate plans to retire from television.

Adam admitted that he has reached an age where he has started thinking about his final years and what life might look like when he is older.
Speaking at Porthaven's Cotswold Gate care home in Burford, Oxfordshire, he said: "The interior design of these places is so lovely, and I'm getting to an age when I'm starting to think about my end-of-life, and where I'll go and what I'll do and what it's going to be like."
The presenter also joked about whether his children would be able to pay for his care.
He added: "I'm hoping my children will be rich enough to pay for me to go into a very nice home like this!"

Adam appeared particularly impressed by the Cotswold Gate care home, which he visited to speak about his experiences with dogs over the years.
He revealed that the home is just 20 minutes from where he lives and praised both its location and interior.
"This one is just 20 minutes from home, and coming through Burford is gorgeous," he commented.
"The home is beautifully capped and decorated, and I was sitting in this room that has amazing wallpaper, thinking 'I'd quite like this in my house'."
Adam went on to describe the care home as "faultless".
Is Adam Henson retiring from Countryfile?
Despite discussing his plans for later life, Adam has not announced plans to retire from Countryfile.
He has been a presenter on the long-running BBC farming programme since 2001 and continues to work in television alongside running his farm.
Away from the BBC, Adam runs Cotswold Farm Park near Guiting Power, which welcomes thousands of visitors every year.
His comments about retirement were therefore about thinking ahead rather than announcing that he is stepping away from Countryfile.

The couple have two grown-up children, Alfie and Ella.
Charlotte, who Adam affectionately calls "Charlie", was diagnosed with stage one pancreatic cancer after becoming unwell around Christmas 2020.
The couple married during the Covid-19 pandemic, holding an intimate ceremony with close relatives just one day before Charlotte was due to undergo crucial surgery.

Adam previously spoke emotionally about the difficult period surrounding Charlotte's cancer diagnosis.
Speaking to the Mirror in 2023, he described their wedding as an incredibly emotional experience because they did not know what the future would hold.
Adam said: "We cried a lot. Those vows cemented my emotions and let me say from the heart how I feel about Charlie. The registrar wasn't aware of our situation and said she'd never had such an emotional couple. For us, it was a way of saying goodbye to everyone."
Charlotte also recalled the uncertainty surrounding her surgery.
She said: "It was a horrible position to put everyone in because you're trying to be happy, but I was going into hospital the next day and didn't know if I was coming out. It was the best possible last day I could have had."
Thankfully, Charlotte made a full recovery.
She later returned to work part-time and continued living her life while attending regular scans.
