THE National Television Awards 2026 have been handed out, with some of the biggest names and shows on British television picking up prizes.
The star-studded ceremony took place at London's O2 and was hosted by Joel Dommett, with winners decided by a public vote.

Clarkson's Farm, Call the Midwife, Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing were among the shows celebrating major wins.
Vicky McClure also took home the Drama Performance award for her role as Lana Washington in Trigger Point, while Alan Carr received the Special Recognition award.

The 2026 awards saw a number of major British television shows pick up prizes across the different categories.

Clarkson's Farm won Reality Docuseries, Call the Midwife took home Returning Drama and Emmerdale was named the winner of Serial Drama.
Strictly Come Dancing won the Talent Show award, while The Celebrity Traitors was victorious in Reality Competition.
Vicky McClure also secured one of the night's major acting prizes, winning Drama Performance for Trigger Point.
Alan Carr was recognised with a Special Recognition award celebrating his contribution to television.
The National Television Awards 2026 were broadcast live on ITV from 8pm on Tuesday, September 8.
