POLICE have closed a stretch of road in Skegness and are urging people to "stay away" amid an ongoing murder investigation.
Officers raced to the scene in Lincolnshire in the early hours of this morning after an "altercation" outside a seaside restaurant.
Cops have arrested a 30-year-old man following the death of a 42-year-old male, sparking a major investigation for police.
Local news sites say there is a "huge police presence" in the town popular with holidaymakers as they urge people to leave the area.
A police spokesperson told SundayStar.co.uk: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident in Ingoldmells, in the early hours of this morning.
"Officers attended Sea Lane following a call at 12.57am, reporting an altercation near Fantasy Grill & Balti.
"A man, aged 42, was found injured and sadly died shortly afterwards.
"This morning officers arrested the 30-year-old man, in Ingoldmells. He will be questioned in due course."
