OUSTED presenter Phillip Schofield is reportedly "incredibly upset" after being "forced to leave" ITV's This Morning.
The veteran telly star, 61, left his co-host Holly Willoughby for good last week after stepping down from the early-morning show.
But now bombshell claims suggest Phil is "completely broken" after his TV exit – claiming he "feels he has been knifed".
Bosses will reportedly continue to pay Phil his staggering six-figure wage for the next few months in a bid to "soften the blow".
"It was meant to make him feel better, it’s just not working," claims an insider.
They told The Sun: "Phil feels he has been shown zero respect and he is devastated by how this has played out.
"He thinks the way he was forced to step down was so unjust and he feels completely broken by how this situation has been handled.
"This Morning was Phil’s life and now he feels he has been knifed without proper consultation."
The source claimed: "Phil has dedicated over 20 years to that show and for it all to end this way has been incredibly upsetting for him."
